For the first time in its long and celebrated history – after thirty-two years – Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, one of the most important publishing events in the world, cannot take place in May, due to the Covid-19 emergency. We are dealing with a dramatic threat for our health, our idea of coexistence and the public and private balances at the base of the community we live in.
While waiting for the right conditions to hold the regular edition in autumn or whenever possible, the book fair has decided to react to the crisis. Salone del Libro has conceived a special edition involving the very best minds of the world, that will take place completely online.
